Living Proof - 12 O'clock

Bike Life crews are a visible part of New York City’s street landscape. Riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers in large groups, these youth-led crews steer through neighborhoods, boroughs, and infrastructure often not built for them. The rides move openly through the city and are shaped by the conditions they encounter.

This book brings together photographs made from within the movement, documenting the riders, crews, and fleeting moments that define Bike Life in New York City.

Together, these images form an archive of a living street culture, offering a perspective from within. This project was documented during the summer.
